A collar has combined necktie-loops and pockets for stiffeners, comprising cloth bands c stitched to the outer collar portion a at their ends and along their lower side edges, so that the lower section of each band forms a pocket for a stiffener d while the upper section forms a loop through which the necktie may be drawn. The stiffener d may comprise two unequal legs with an obtuse angle between them as shown, or it may be straight.
