Abstract
778,564. Teeth cleaning appliances. GJERDE, B. Feb. 9, 1956 [March 17, 1955], No. 4057/56. Class 81(2) An appliance for cleaning the teeth comprises a handle 1 having two prongs 3, 4 at one end, between which is stretched a loop of thread 6, this being held taut by means of a rack device 12. The loop is passed over a projection 8 on a sliding member 7, which has a notch for engaging the rack. Two forms of this member are proposed, one of which is disengaged from the rack by lifting it clear while the other is disengaged by a sideways movement.
