Abstract
769,937. Delivering packets from machines. SERAGNOLI, E., and SERAGNOLI, A., [trading as SOC. G. D. IN ACCOMANDITA SEMPLICE]. March 28,1955 [March 31, 1954], No.8940/55. Class 94(1). [Also in Group XXX] Wrapped tablets &c. 24 are conveyed from a machine to a stacking device comprising a pivoted platform 15 swinging with a tablet from a horizontal receiving position to a delivery position where the tablet is added to a stack in a shoot 27. Springs 17 grip the tablet during transit and elements 29 depending from the platform, restrain tablets issuing from the machine. The tablets are retained in the shoot by an element 28, the springs 17 being moved axially with respect to the shaft 31 about the axis of which the platform pivots to enable the platform 15 to return. The springs are moved by relative rotation between a cam 34 and the platform. The platform may be replaced by a pair of arms supporting the tablet base.
