Class 110(3) [Also in Group XXXIII] A jet pipe 28 for an engine which is rotatably mounted in an aircraft so, that it can discharge rearwardly or downwardly is elbow-shaped and provided with vanes 30 for leading the effluent round the bend. The jet pipe may discharge into a short fixed nozzle (not shown in Fig. 1) of a cross-section which changes from rectangular at the upstream end to circular at the downstream 'end.
