Abstract

In a method of packaging surgical sutures (see Group XVII) an outer envelope of the package is sterilized by exposing it to a mixture of 10-20 per cent by weight of ethylene oxide gas and 80-90 per cent of carbon dioxide, nitrogen or a mixture thereof. U.S.A. Specification 2,465,319 is referred to.
