Abstract

746,119. Linear dimension gauges. ORR, F. N., and JOHNSON, P. N. Aug. 18, 1954 [Feb. 10, 1954], No. 3887/54. Class 106 (2). A linear dimension or marking-out gauge such as a height gauge comprises a column 12 having a cursor 16 slidable on it, the cursor having a spring catch 23 for engaging notches 21 in a bar 22, the bar being adjustable axially along the column by micrometer means 26. The invention is adaptable to sliding caliper gauges and beam trammels.
