Abstract

739,626. Drop delivering stoppers; spouts. FOXBORO CO. Feb. 2, 1954 [Feb. 5, 1953], No. 3132/54. Classes 66 and 125 (3). A closure and dispensing device for a flexible container 10 has a closure plug 11 with a flexible spout 13 and liquid receiving tube 14, secured to the container by a screw cap 12, the end of the spout being closed when not in use by insertion in a recess 14 in the plug 11 which also contains a filter 17 in the liquid passage. In a modification the spout is received in a recess in the screw cap. In another modification (Fig. 5) a flexible bottle 25 has a flexible spout 26 integral therewith and a thickened wall portion 30 with a recess 31 to receive the free end of spout 26.
