Abstract

738,104. Packaging pies, cakes &c. EKCO PRODUCTS CO. June 8, 1953 [June 18, 1952], No. 15718/53. Classes 66 and 94 (1). A metal foil receptacle 10 in which pies &c. may be baked and which forms a protective package for the baked contents comprises a side wall 11 having its upper rim formed into an upwardly facing seat 12 for a cover 14, the rim 13 being bent inwardly over the marginal portion of the cover to hold it in place, and rebendable by finger manipulation to a position out of engagement with the cover for removal of the cover. The receptacle may be of aluminium foil and the cover of cardboard with a transparent central portion 16.
