An endless conveyer band passes loopwise into and out of a plurality of consecutive treatment baths, the band being assembled from wires each formed with bent-over ends to engage the adjacent wire and form a chain, print holding means or clips being attached to the wires, particularly to loops provided therein. As shown, Fig. 1, prints from table 26 are attached by clips 6 to band 1 to be carried through bath tanks I to V and released at delivery tray 37, after which the band goes down past tank V and through a drying tunnel 21 back to the position of 26, the band being driven by motor 20 from transport rollers 15 at the top of the tanks. Band 1, Fig. 3, has wires 2 with bent engaging ends 3, the wires having angled loops 4 with cranked portions 5 carrying spring clips 6 which latter, Fig. 5, have each an extension 29 of an upper jaw containing slot 30 through which passes a lug 31 formed in the lower jaw 6<SP>1</SP>, which lugs form smaller spring clips 33 terminating in holder members 35 with serrations 34. The extension 29 and serrations 34, shown in open position, are closed by spring action upon a print on pushing the latter between them to move clamping lever 28 to the left. Reverse movement of lever 28 opens the jaws to permit release of the print and such may be effected automatically by action of the lever 28 against striker plate 27, Fig. 1, to deposit the processed print on delivery tray 37.
