Classes 69 (2) and 135. Hydraulic reverse valve means according to the parent Specification is modified by replacing the tapered ports by a set of openings providing an equivalent flow of pressure fluid. A valve sleeve 50 is provided with a set of holes a ... p each set communicating with an inlet or exhaust port or two such sets communicating with each port. The holes are arranged around the periphery of the sleeve as shown in Fig. 8 and are of such size and are so located that if placed together they would conform approximately to the shape of the port 28, as shown in Fig. 7. In a modification the sets of holes are located in the valve member which co-operates with normal ports. The invention is stated to be applicable to rotary valves.
