A drop-leaf 2 is supported by a movable leg 13 connected to the leaf by one or more links 12 and to the table body by a flap hinged at each end and preferably consisting of two hingedly connected panels 20, 21. A spring- biased hinged strut 15 serves as a catch and can be released by a finger-plate 19 when the leaf is to be folded. A cupboard 6 may be provided in the table body.
