Abstract

713,817. Building panels. CLIPSON, S. Feb. 16, 1953 [May 28, 1952], No. 13568/52. Class 87 (1). A building panel comprises a rectangular frame of Usection thin sheet metal surrounding layers a, c of plaster between which is a sheet b of hessian having its edges tucked into the channel 3 of the frame. A part of the inner limb 1 of the frame is bent over to form an inwardly directed flange 1a, and part of the outer limb 2 on two adjacent sides is bent over at 2a to receive the plain limbs 2 of adjacent panels. Gussets 4 are riveted across the corners of the frame and are provided with tubes 6 to receive attachment screws for the panel.
