Class 123(1) [Also in Group XIII] A composition for use in an aqueous solution of an organic anti-freeze compound such as glycol for cooling radiators comprises a water soluble chromate, bichromate or nitrite and one or more water insoluble higher oxides of manganese or bismuth. Sodium or potassium carbonate and/or an alkaline borate such as borax may be present.
