719,200. Screw conveyers. COMPTON, C. E. Jan. 30, 1953, [Oct. 17, 1952.] No. 2711/53. Addition to 699,392. Class 78 (1). [Also in Group XXII] The conveyer of the parent Specification is modified by enlarging the outer extremities 5a, Fig. 1, of some, but preferably all, of the slits 5. A similar enlargement 5b is formed in the slit 4 at the same distance from the central hole 3 as the enlargements 5a. The enlargements may be formed by drilling or.punching. In a modification, Fig. 5, material is removed along the edges of the slits to make them tapered.
