715,405. Belting. LEWIS & TYLOR, Ltd., and LAWSON. N. Jan. 22, 1953 [March 17. 1952], No. 6903/52. Class 80 (1) [Also in Group IX] Endless belts are cut from a tubular fabric (see Group IX) woven so that the tranverse threads of the belt are of cotton impregnated with rubber, synthetic rubber, neoprene, or polyvinyl chloride, while the longitudinal threads are of non-impregnated high-tensile artificial threads for example, rayon, nylon, or polyester fibre. The. cut edges are folded inwards to meet on the centre line of the belt, thereby forming a two-ply structure, which is then vulcanized.
