Class 20 (3) In a lantern skylight the hip :members C, and the ridge member G when provided, each comprises a web with glass-supporting flanges C<SP>2</SP>, G<SP>2</SP> and glass-covering flanges C4, G<SP>5</SP>, and the junctions of the hip members or the hip and ridge members are received and bolted in cleats F channel-shaped in cross-section and X- or Y- shaped in plan according to whether the construction comprises hipped members only or both hip and ridge members. The glazing bars M run from the ridge bar to the eaves bar Q and portions of the upper ends of the :glazing bars are cut away to fit the ridge bars. Flanges G<SP>6</SP> on the ridge bars extend over the upper beading M<SP>3</SP> of the glazing bars.
