Glass 20 (4) Means for supporting tiles, e.g. acoustic tiles 5, to form a ceiling comprises a sheet metal member 1 of inverted channel section which is bolted at 7 to :a roof truss member 6 and has inturned flanges 2 to support boards 3, preferably of the ype known as hardboard, tongues 4 in the member 1 being bent down to bear against the boards 3 and the tiles 5 being secured to the hardboards 3 by means of screws .8.
