Classes 39 (2) and 75 (3) An electric battery lamp, adapted for use as a cycle and like lamp, comprises a dished base a of moulded plastic material carrying an integral or attached frame-like battery-holder b provided with an upturned front portion c carrying a socket for a bulb e, and an upturned rear portion f providing a mounting for a battery contact k as well as a socket g for attachment to a bracket on a bicycle &c., the whole being covered by a sheet metal cover q provided with a window s, and with the ends of a transversely slidable switch-bar m projecting through slots in the sides of the cover. The cover is secured in position by a screw r which enters the offset upper end of the front frame-portion c. An aperture h is provided in the base a below the socket g to enable the lamp to be mounted on a bracket.
