Abstract

701,450. Spectacle frames. LESUEUR, F. H. Nov. 23, 1951 [Nov. 27, 1950], No. 28963/50. Class 97(1) A frame adapted to be attached to spectacles comprises two circular rims 10, 11 each with a straight tangential tail 12, 13, each tail having at its end a lug 14 which projects into a slot 15 in the the other tail, the tails being held together by a compression spring 16 so that the distance between the rims can be adjusted. The tails 12, 13 may be formed respectively with an upper and a lower flange to act as a guide, the tails may be semicircular in section with the flat portions sliding on each other. Clips 17 are provided for attachment to a spectacle frame.
