Abstract
700,612. Magazine delivery. BEER, D. A. E. June 4, 1951 [March 3, 1950], No. 5434/50. Class 78 (1). In apparatus for dispensing thin flat articles, e.g. wafer biscuits, alternately from two stacks, a slotted plate is slidable beneath the stacks to bring slots into position to receive articles from respective stacks and then transfer them to a delivery opening between the stacks. In a manually-operated apparatus, Fig. 1, a slotted plate 4 having two slots 18 to receive articles is slidable immediately beneath two stacks so that two articles one from each stack, are delivered in succession through the aperture 5a upon one to and fro operation of the plate. The stacks are arranged in compartments 7 of a box 12 having removable side walls 8 to facilitate filling. In a modification, the plate 4 is circular and is rotatable to effect delivery from a pair of stacks, additional pairs of stacks being provided and adapted for rotation into the operative delivery position. The plate 4 mav have a thickness sufficient to receive two articles at the same time. Specification 700,613, [Group VI], is referred to.
