Abstract
Ni alloys formed by a sintering process (see Group XXII) may have as the other constituent or constituents one or more of the following elements; Co up to 50 per cent., Cr up to 20 per cent. added as the element or as a Co-Cr alloy, Ti up to 2 per cent. added as Ti hydride or as an 80 per cent. Ni-20 per cent. Ti alloy, Al up to 4 per cent. added as the element or as a 40 per cent. Ni-60 per cent. Al alloy, Be up to 2 per cent., Si up to 2 per cent. added as a 70 per cent. Ni-30 per cent. Si alloy, W up to 40 per cent., Ba up to 0.5 per cent. added as an Mg-Ba alloy, Zn up to 2 per cent. and Mg up to 2 per cent. A small amount of refractory oxide may be present to restrict grain growth of the alloy. Specifications 580,744 and 586,960 are referred to.
