Class 110(1) [Also in Group XXX] The flange c<SP>2</SP> of an anglesection sealing strip c of leather, gland packing material or soft metal bears against the inner face of the casing b of the pump and the flange c<SP>1</SP> of the strip is secured in a slot a<SP>1</SP> in the blade of the screw a by a spiral strip d and rivets d'. The flange c<SP>2</SP> is directed forwardly of the driving face of the blade. In a modification the flange c<SP>1</SP> is inserted in a deep groove cut in the periphery of the blade and is secured by rivets.
