Class 39(1) In a dispenser-type cathode, in which an internal store of emissive material permeates through the pores of a containing member, the container may be of porous carbon, or have a carbon coating. A container of sintered porous tungsten or molybdenum may be coated with graphite, as by rubbing or painting, or may be coated by carburization.
