Abstract

An insecticidal composition comprises a minor percentage of an organic insecticide and a major proportion of a carrier consisting of wheat dust obtained during the cleaning process of wheat prior to milling, said dust passing a 100 mesh per linear inch screen and having a content of outer envelope of at least 25 per cent, a content of endosperm of at least 15 per cent, and a content of waxy material of at least 2 per cent. Insecticides referred to are piperonyl butoxide, pyrethrum and rotenone.
