Class 30 [Also in Groups XV and XXIII] The handle of a manicuring instrument e.g. a nail file, cuticle pusher or scalpel is built up within a metal edging frame of channel cross-section, the opposite ends of the frame forming a tube enclosing, and rigidly connected to, a bush to which one end of the manicuring tool is attached. As shown, the screwthreaded shank 3. of the tool 1 detachably engages a tapped bush 4 soldered into a tube 10, formed by the ends of a channel - section edging frame 9 of the handle 2. Filling layers 6 of cardboard, decorative panels 7 and protective transparent sheets 8 of plastic material are clamped by the flanges of the frame to form an ornamental handle. A sleeve 11, engaging over the bush and tube 10, forms an ornamental mount and may be soldered in position and the engagement between the bush and the shank 3 may be made secure.
