Abstract

686,137. Door holders. BAINBRIDGE, G. T. April 24, 1951 [Oct. 13, 1950], No. 25045/50. Class 65 (i) In a door holder of the kind comprising a spring loaded prop pivotally mounted on a bracket for movement from an out of use position to a position to engage the floor, the prop 3 is pivoted at 6 between the side walls 4 of the bracket 3 which is wholly of channel cross section, and the spring loading is effected by a hair pin flat spring 8 anchored to a pin 9 and bearing at one end on the prop and at the other end on the base of the bracket. The prop is rounded at its heel 7 and is provided with a rubber toe 6a.
