Abstract
673,008. Artificial baits. DINWOODIE, L. M. Nov. 2, 1950 [Nov. 5, 1949], No. 28390/49. Class 48. A fish lure constructed to simulate the movement of a live fish on being drawn through water, comprises a body 1, substantially triangular in crosssection and flattened on at least one side 2, and having substantially the contour of a fish body without a tail, with the portion 4 of the body towards the rear or free end slightly convexed. The locus of the centre of the triangular cross-section of the body is preferably a curved line. As shown, the ends of the lure are provided with holes 5, 5<SP>1</SP> respectively, for the attachment of a treble 7 and a split ring 9 for attachment to a line swivel 10. The lure is preferably made of aluminium or other bright material, e.g. painted or metallised plastic material which is loaded to obtain the required specific gravity.
