Abstract
676,937. Retractive switches. PARSONS, J. B. Nov. 7, 1950. No. 27182/50. Class 38 (v). In a switch specially adapted for controlling a reversible motor, movement of the operating lever 14 from the central position shown in one or other direction connects a terminal 21 to a terminal 20 or 22. The lever 14 pivots about an axis 19 and carries a conducting sleeve 17 cut off diagonally at its lower end 18 so that counter-clockwise rotation of the lever brings the sleeve into engagement with the terminal 20 so completing a circuit through a spring 24, movable plate 23, sleeve 17 to terminal 20. Clockwise rotation of the lever brings the sleeve 17 into engagement with a spring-pressed conducting plate 25 so completing a circuit from 21 through parts 24, 23, 17, 25, 26, to terminal 22,
