Class 110(i) [Also in Groups XIII and XXVIII] The shaft 38 of a sealed motor-compressor unit for a refrigerating system drives a compressor 45 and an oil pump 74 which transmits oil up a bore 82 in the shaft, a tube 88 being forced into the bore 82 and carrying a gas-circulating fan 86 which also throws the oil against the stator windings 35. The fan may circulate the gas upwardly or downwardly. Specification 660,697, [Group XIII], is referred to.
