[Also in Groups XVII, XXXII and XXXIII] In a pneumatic device for shoring packages in a freight compartment, a deflated member 10 is disposed in the space between packages 16, 16, or in the space between a package and a wall of the compartment, and is then inflated to resiliently shore the packages. The member 10 has attached thereto metal eyelets through which a rod 14 is passed for suspending the member therefrom. Two inflatable members may be employed by suspending them against one another from rods 14, or one member may be folded back on itself. Specification 674,091 is referred to.
