Abstract

667,917. Tooth brushes. COSBY, E. L. H. May 11, 1950, No. 11752/50. Class 19. In a tooth brush having the usual bristles at one end and an india-rubber sleeve having a number of projecting stubs at the other end, the end of the handle carrying the sleeve is formed with a reduced portion having a projecting pin on one face and the sleeve is formed with a hole for engaging over the pin when the sleeve is in position in the reduced portion of the handle. In the figures a tooth-brush has a handle 1 having the usual bristles 2 at one end; at the other end the handle is formed with a portion 1b of reduced width and thickness, in the upper face of which is a projecting pin 3. A removable india-rubber sleeve 4, having a number of stubs 4a on one face to form a massage surface, is located in the reduced portion 1b and is formed with a hole to engage over the pin 3.
