Abstract

657,957. Baking trays. DUKES, V., and HARRISON, R. A. April 1, 1949, No. 8933. [Class 28(i)] A tray, primarily for use in baking and carrying buns &c. in paper cup moulds is provided with apertures 2 to support the ,tapered sides of the paper cups, and so prevent mis-shaping during baking, the bottom of the paper cups passing through the apertures to rest on any supporting surface above which the tray surface is spaced. The apertures 2 may have flanged-down edges, the tray being spaced above its supporting surface by flanging down its edges all round or by attaching angle bars 3. Full trays may be stacked above one another, being distanced by spacing brackets 4. The apertures may be of any shape, e.g. clover leaf, multi-sided &c. The Provisional Specification states that the tray may be used for displaying goods in a shop window.
