657,561. Children's swings. SHATWELL, G. J., and SHATWELL, W. A. April 27, 1949, No. 11050/48. [Class 132 (i)] A child's swing comprises a sling-like seat a with apertures b through which the child's legs may be passed, four ropes c each adjustable by a sliding plate, secured to said seat a and associated with an extension spring or springs, and means whereby the appliance may be detachably secured to an overhead support. The ropes c, which may be adjustable, are suspended from a spring e and spaced apart by a spreader g. The child is held in the seat by straps h tied behind its back. Specification 16829/05, [Class 132], is referred to.
