636,517. Partitions. HARRIS & SHELDON, Ltd., SANKEY & SONS, Ltd., J., and SMITH, E. W. April 15, 1948, No. 10443. [Class 20 (iv)] A metal post for a partition structure comprises two half-posts 4 of channel-section secured back to back forming between them channels 8 which receive a panel 14 or a cover plate 9, and cover plates 15 or 12 sprung over the portions 6 of each half-post, the cover plate 15 being formed with a channel 13 for receiving a panel 14a. The post may be adapted to receive from one to four panels by the appropriate use of the cover plates 9, 12 and 15.
