[Class 98 (ii)] Apparatus for taking stereoscopic pairs of photographs in side-by-side relationship on a light-sensitive film through a single objective comprises an attachment adapted to be mounted in front of the camera objective, said attachment having an optical system consisting of two pairs of reflectors oppositely disposed on opposite sides of the axis of the objective so as to transmit stereoscopically-related images to the film and means for moving in unison the two adjacent reflectors along the objective axis. As shown, the attachment 3, which is adapted to be slidably mounted on a bracket fixed to the front of the camera so as to be engageable with the objective 14, houses mirrors 16, 18 pivotally mounted on slides 20 adjustable laterally of the objective axis X-X by screws 23 to effect alteration of the effective interocular distance and rotatable on their pivots by screws 25 (Fig. 3, not shown), to vary the separation of the two related images on the film. The adjacent mirrors 17, 19 are carried by a block 27 secured to a slide 28 movable along the axis X-X by a screw 31 so that by moving the block 27 towards the lens 2 the beam of reflected rays is moved out towards the periphery of the objective and a larger stop may be used. Plates 32, slidable across openings 15 in the attachment housing are provided for framing the view to be taken as seen on a rear focusing screen in the camera and masks 36 allowing only one image to be viewed on the screen may be inserted in the guideways 35. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 states that polarizing filters may be inserted in the guideways 35. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
