Abstract
620,201. Filing paper and like sheets. DOMBEY, C. H. Jan. 8, 1947, No. 603. [Class 146 (i)] In a loose-leaf binder of the spring- back type in which the leaves or sheets are gripped between the edges of. a resilient back to which the boards or covers are secured and the resilient grip is provided by two or more spring clips or jaws e of C outline incorporated between inner and outer layers of the back, each of the clips e is provided at each end with a transverse slot f and a strip or band g of fabric tape or similar material is carried round the back of the clip and its ends threaded through the slots, doubled back over the end edges of the clip and bound between the boards and the lining or covering of the boards. In a modification, two narrower strips g may be used, fitting into notches extending in from the side edges of the clip.
