Abstract

629,266. Light projectors. SKEWES, J. E. Aug. 10, 1946, No. 23754. [Class 75(iv)] [Also in Group XX] A colour projector apparatus comprises as shown in Fig. 4, three colour filters 5, 6 and 7 mounted in a housing 8 on co-axial supports 11 which are independently rotatable by pinions 12 which are respectively geared to an operating handle. Light passes into the housing 8 from a lamp 10, which may be an incandescent lamp, a carbon arc lamp or a discharge tube. Each colour filter is in the form of a transparent or translucent disc having therein alternating curved strips 1, 2 of which the strips 1 are coloured and project from a maximum colour area 3 to a maximum clear area 4. The colour filters may also be in the form of rectangular slides or of cylinders.
