629,217. Spring clips. COX, A. F. Nov. 1, 1947, No. 29222. [Class 44] [Also in Group XV] A spring clip label for attachment to ropes &c. comprises springy arms A<SP>1</SP> connected by a preferably flat piece A having a barb A<SP>2</SP> pressed out to engage the rope. The ends of the arms A<SP>1</SP> may be curved as at A<SP>5</SP>, or one corner of each arm may be bent to facilitate the application of the clip to a rope. The connections between the arms A<SP>1</SP> and flat piece A may be curved to allow greater bending of the arms. Indicia are stamped on a soft metal tag which is attached to the flat piece A.
