Abstract

627,937. Metal tiles. BRABY & CO., Ltd., F., and MARCHBANK, J. Aug. 21, 1947, Nos. 23191 and 30408. [Class 87(i)] [Also in Group XXII] An aluminium &c. facing or flooring tile is formed with a corrugated or ridged central portion 2 merging with a flat marginal portion 1 and may be provided with nail holes or with rearward flanges 3 on at least two opposite edges. The flanges 3 may make an acute angle 4 with the rear face and may be provided on two edges, in which case a bull-nose may be formed on a third edge, or on all four edges. In a modification, Fig. 6, flanges 3 at right angles to the rear face are provided on two opposite edges and channel members 6 are secured along the other edges. Specification 476,547 is referred to in the first Provisional Specification.
