Abstract

627,906. Spray-producers. DIETRICH, W. F. June 4, 1947, No. 14817. Convention date, June 18, 1946. [Class 69 (iii)] A nozzle for producing solid fluid streams or fog patterns or combinations thereof has a fixed body member 1 with three valve inlet ports 5 registering with passages 10a, 10b and 10c in a rotatable nozzle body 9. Passage 10a provides a solid fluid stream, and passages 10b and 10c have different fog head nozzle members 14 and 15 screwed therein, and which emit intersecting streams forming fog patterns. Rotation of the nozzle body 9 may cut-off one or more nozzle passages from the inlet ports 5. Leakage is prevented by rubber washers 6 and metal washers 7 held under compression by the nozzle body.
