Abstract

<PICT:0624054/IV (c)/1> Apparatus for treating samples of textile materials with liquids, e.g. dyebaths and detergents, comprises a vessel C for holding the liquid, a carrier B, e.g. a wire frame or cage, for holding the sample, and cam mechanism E for moving the carrier up and down in the liquid. The vessel C is a cylinder of length approximately five times the diameter, closed at one end and provided with a bell-shaped or funnel-shaped mouth at the other end.
