[Class 52(iii)] [Also in Groups XXV and XXXII] A trolley for the removal of cooked food from ovens comprises a wheeled framework including uprights and a tray adapted to be raised and lowered on the uprights by pulling on an endless cable secured to the tray and passing around pulleys on the framework to maintain the tray horizontal, and means on the tray adapted to engage complementary means on the uprights for supporting the tray at a desired level The tray 21 is slidably supported on the uprights 10<1>-10<4> by U- shaped bolts 29 and is kept horizontal by an endless cable 20 passing under pulleys 17<1>- 17<4> and 18<1>-18<4> at the lower ends of the uprights 10<1>-10<4> and over pulleys 19<1>-19<4> at their upper ends so that there are two vertical runs of the cable 20 along each upright: each corner of the tray is clamped at 26 to a corresponding run of the cable. The free ends of the cable 20 are joined to a straining screw 23 which can be tightened to tension the cable by a nut 24 bearing on an abutment on the tray. Releasable fastenings (see also Group XXV) comprising bolts on the tray are urged by springs into engagement with slots in the uprights 10 and may be withdrawn by operation of a single handle 40. Alternatively the fastenings may comprise a rack on each upright engagable by a pawl at each corner of the tray. The front 43 of the tray is tapered so that it may be introduced into an oven.
