Abstract
611,569. Door holders. BLOOMFIELD, S. May 2, 1946, No. 13368. [Class 65 (i)] A door holder comprises a pair of tubular telescopic members 18 and 20 containing a spring 30 which urges the members apart. The member 18 is pivoted at 22 to a bracket 14 adapted to be secured to the door 10, while the outer end of the member 20 is adapted to engage the floor 42 to hold the door in any desired open position. Lugs 32 formed on member 18 engage slots 34 formed in member 20 to limit the relative movement of the members.
