Sept. 10, 1946, No. 27217 [Class 137] An air heater comprises a casing of two cup-shaped plates 12, 13, having end inlets and outlets 14, 15, a cylinder 18 carried by an annular plate 19 and housing an electric motor 24 and fan 26, a circular plate 27 spaced from the fan with resistance element supporting parts 28 fixed between plates 19 and 27 and insulated from both, and a helical resistance element 30 supplied with current from a switch-box 31. The hot air discharged through the outlets 15 is directed radially outwards by the bottom plate 37 of a hollow cover 35. Specification 611,087 is referred to.
