603,916. Scooters. STAMPER, S. W., and OLIVER, A. A. Nov. 5, 1945, No. 29384. [Class 136 (iii)] A scooter having two or more wheels A, B is characterized by having footboards F supported above the platform by pivotally attached dual levers G, H either or both footboards being adapted to rise on removal of the weight of the rider and kept in a horizontal plane throughout the extent of the movement of the dual levers which either alone or in combination with levers R, V transmit the downward motion of the footboard to the rear wheel B of the scooter through a chain or other flexible connector and a ratchet pulley N attached to the hub of the rear wheel of the scooter. The platform may be long enough to accommodate two or more riders each provided with footboards.
