Abstract

603,240. Building of walls &c. BERRY, A. F. June 25, 1945, No. 16171. [Class 20(iv)] A wall or the like is constructed of uniformly shaped bricks or blocks wetted and thinly coated on one or more faces with a slurry or adhering powder of the same composition as the bricks &c. The bricks may be made of ground furnace clinker and Portland cement, and the slurry is of the same materials which may be more finely ground. The bricks may be rectangular or rhomboidal of different colours, and laid in any bond. Due to the absence of the normal jointing material the wall has a monolithic appearance which is heightened by an outer coating of the slurry.
