[Class 137] An air diffuser for ventilating and air conditioning plants comprises one or more perforated deflecting and diffusing members 4, convex from the inlet side 1, i.e. presenting forwardly and outwardly diverging surfaces to the incoming air, and a part-perforated diffusing outer casing 3, which encloses and may support the member or members 4. Alternatively, the members 4 may be adjustably mounted on the inlet pipes 1 and may be of conical, part spherical or pyramidal form, while the perforated members 3 may be of frustoconical, conical, cylindrical, part-spherical or other form, e.g. rectilinear.
