606,535. " On and off " castors. NICHOLLS, A. W., and GILL, J. W. S. Dec. 3, 1945, No. 32630: [Class 52(i)] The axle 6 of each wheel 3 is carried by toggle links 7, 8 which can be straightened by a spring 10 to project the wheel when the load on the article is relieved and can be collapsed by operata rod 15 to rotate the upper link. Alternatively, the spring may retract the castor and the rod project it. The device is mounted approximately in the plane of the centre of gravity of the article.
