Abstract

605,008. Work - holders. NATIONAL BROACH & MACHINE CO. Dec. 11, 1945, No. 33529. Convention date, Feb. 7. [Class 83 (iii)] A work-clamp has a rockable and axially slidable vertical shaft 27 with a lateral workengaging arm 28, the shaft being moved axially by a cam 26 on a transverse shaft 24 and rocked to move the lateral arm into operative position when the cam is in its release position. The cam 26 rides in a slot 29 in the vertical shaft, which is rocked to swing the work-engaging arm by a pin 32 projecting from the cam near its high point and engaging a V.slot 33 above the slot 29.
