[Class 9 (ii)] An explosive composition for blasting cartridges comprising liquid explosive nitric ester and nitrocellulose, is stiffened by the addition of an oxide, hydroxide or normal or basic salt of lead, iron, aluminium, copper, manganese, bismuth or cobalt.
